Recipe insights & TIPS

When I sat down to write this post, I grabbed my box of brown rice Triscuits, baked with sweet potato and roasted sweet onion. I thought having them close by would channel my inner cracker and provide ample fodder to write about.

Well, it sort of worked, but made writing the post about an hour longer than it should have taken. I couldn't stop dipping into the box and eating the crackers. There's a new Triscuit in town, and it's made with 100% whole grain brown rice, has no artificial flavors, and is packed with bits of sweet potato.

They have two other flavors, too: Tomato and Sweet Basil and Savory Red Beans. Triscuit calls them "Real Foods," and with only 130 calories for six good-sized crackers, I'd definitely add these to my pantry. When you look at the ingredient list you'll notice that it's pretty simple, so I carried that through just by adding some goat cheese, wildflower honey and fresh rosemary.

Simple, but easily the first appetizer plate to be finished...

A new take on an old favorite. Enjoy the new line of Triscuit baked with whole grain brown rice and wheat, some with real food ingredients like sweet potato or red beans.
