Tasty Gardein Fishless Filets! Perfect for lent snacks with slider buns, coleslaw and tartar sauce!
Sliders are one of the best and easiest to make finger snacks in my opinion. They're just the perfect size, usually after two bites that leave me feeling satisfied unlike when I try to eat a regular sized burger or sandwich.
Sliders are also perfect for feeding a crowd so that means parties, game days and backyard barbecues should all have sliders available!
These sliders are a spin on the traditional fish filet sandwich. Gardein Fishless Filets are made from soy protein but also include pea protein and carrot fiber as well as other plant-based ingredients.
Pea protein is great for most diets, keeps you feeling full and promotes good heart health. The smell and texture are amazingly similar to regular fish nuggets and they taste really good!
These fishless filets are also vegan, dairy free and cholesterols free. You could easily use them if you were craving traditional fish and chips or a classic battered fish taco!
I added some tartar sauce to my slider along with a simple coleslaw mix for some extra sweetness and crunch. Make sure you make plenty of these because they'll disappear fast, but thankfully you can have a new batch ready to serve about 15 minutes later thanks to the Breville 3 in 1 Combi Oven and it's ability to quickly airfry!
