So Mother’s Day came and went, and now Father’s Day is next! I hope that didn’t sound selfish but being waited on hand and foot is totally appealing to me. My ideal Father’s Day is pretty much just hanging out somewhere and relaxing with the rest of the family, I dropped a hint about taking a drive up the coast and grabbing some lunch and a beer so fingers crossed!
If you prefer to stay home, Father’s Day is the perfect time to be firing up your grill and diving in to some awesomely tasty meat. I was thrilled when Omaha Steaks asked me to grill some of their juicy Private Reserve Lamb Rib Chops, and if you know me you’ll know I love to get the kids involved in some way. The two of them helped me prepare the lamb and even took charge of the grill, I know this is going to pay off big time in 10-15 years. Lamb has always been a huge favorite for my kids so they were so happy to be able to tear these chops apart after they were done.

Those lamb chops look incredible – and the kids are pretty cute, too :)
Those Lamb chops look scrumptious. It is so good that you have the wee ones in the kitchen at a early age. That way they feel comfortable.
This is a father’s dream dish! Seriously it is unbelievable. Actually I wouldn’t mind having this for my birthday!
This is my husband favorite dish, I personally don’t eat lamb, I just don’t like it, and I am very frustrated at myself, but this looks so good that I would love to cook it for my husband.
Love that mint sauce, what killer looking chops!
Love lamb, but would like to know how you make your mint sauce. I have never made it myself, but do like it with lamb and have lamb chops it the freezer that I want to grill.
