How To Make Grilled Avocado Guacamole

Delicious grilled avocado guacamole with lime juice, garlic, cumin, tomato and onion! This is the perfect guacamole dip!

  • 3 large ripe avocados
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • juice of half a lime
  • 1 small tomato seeded and finely diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh chopped cilantro


  • Preheat your grill to a high heat.
  • Cut each avocado in half and remove the stone.
  • Rub the avocado flesh lightly with some olive oil.
  • Place the avocado skin side up onto the grill and grill for about 3-4 minutes depending on how hot your grill is.
  • Scoop out the avocado flesh and transfer to a bowl.
  • Add the remaining ingredients to the avocado and mix together with a fork until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Taste the guacamole and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  • Serve with tortilla chips or fresh veggies.
