In a bowl combine the ground beef and green onion. Season well with salt and pepper.
Form the beef into two patties and flatten evenly.
Preheat your Char-Broil grill to a high heat and then turn one side down to low.
Once the grill is hot, place the burgers on to the direct heat side of the grill.
Sear without moving for about 2-3 minutes.
Flip the patties over and sear the other side.
Move the burgers to the indirect heat side of the grill and cook until your desired doneness.
Place two slices of the cheese on top of each burger and melt.
Place each burger onto a bun, top with the bacon and raw onion.
Serve at once with a fresh salad
