Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 3 Chai Spice teabags
  • 1 stick unsalted butter 6oz
  • 2 cup bars good quality chocolate roughly chopped. Set aside 1/4 ., 3.5oz
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl whisk together the flour, cocoa and chai spice from the tea bags.
  • In a pan, melt the butter and add all of the chopped chocolate except for 1/4 cup. Whisk until smooth.
  • Take off the heat and add the sugars, whisk until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time whisking well after each one.
  • Whisk in the vanilla.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture making sure to have no lumps.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and top with the remaining 1/4 cup chopped chocolate.
  • Bake for 20 minutes and let cool.
  • Melt both sets of chocolate chips and drizzle over the brownies.
  • Sprinkle withs sea salt and cut into squares.
