  • 2 1/2 pounds tri-tip steak
  • 1 1/2 tbsp your favorite bbq rub
  • 1 box New York Bakery Texas Toast
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped rosemary

  1. Preheat your grill to high.

  2. Season the trip-tip with the bbq rub and place on the grill.

  3. Sear the meat on one side for about 4 minutes and then turn it over and sear again.

  4. Move the meat to the side of the heat source or turn the heat down a little if you can and grill for about 20 minutes turning once or twice.

  5. Once the meat is done to your liking, place it on a plate and cover loosely with foil.

  7. Take the trip-tip and slice it across the grain into thin slices.

  8. Place 2-3 slices on top of the toast and garnish with some chopped rosemary.

  9. Serve at once.
