I must be honest and confess that I don’t make too many soup recipes because It’s usually always so darn warm here in California.
But now and again a bowl of soup is actually pretty awesome. My mom would make all kinds of soup when I was a kid, and I remember waiting for her to extract the hunk of beef or pork from the soup when it was ready so I could eat it. I kinda snuck in, grabbed it and picked at that thing for ages. Basically, the meat had slow cooked for hours and hours giving the soup so much delicious flavor.
If you’re still hanging on to winter and you can’t move to California, what gives? But seriously, soup can be a fantastic way to cure those chills.
This week’s Ten Best Round Up is all about soup. Whether you like spicy soups or soups filled with vegetables, I’m pretty sure there’s a few from this list that will catch your eye.
So set aside an afternoon and find the largest pot you own.
Fill it up and make soup!
