We’ve all been there, right? You end up at a summer party and the kid friendly drinks might be questionable.

10 Kid Friendly Drinks

Not with these homemade fruit filled and sort of all-natural choices in our latest roundup post! You don’t even need to be at a party, you could mix giant pitchers of these up in five minutes and keep them in the fridge ready to pour when the kids are thirsty.

There’s something special about making drinks from fresh fruit for me. It’s easy, usually cheap and the flavor is beyond awesome. Keep watch at your local store for any great deals on fruit and then load up. One that always goes on sale is watermelon, and this can be pureed down to make an amazing agua fresca.

You don’t need to load it up with raw sugar either, just make a simple syrup of equal parts water and sugar and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes until it thickens and then add as much as you need to your fruit mixture along with some sparkling water.

I also love to add fresh herbs to my simple syrups for extra flavor like this Mango and Basil Spritzer, my kids loved it!

Whatever you end up doing, keep things simple and enjoy a fresh tasting cool summer!
