Letter from the editor

Are you ready for fall?

For me, it feels like this year has flown past which is ironic considering of how the country (and world) practically came to a standstill. I still remember how things were back in February but it seems like a distant memory. I’ve still been kept busy through the summer with a short vacation in Joshua Tree. It was hot but it’s such a unique and peaceful place, I can’t wait to return!

But now school is almost about to begin for my kids. We’ll begin virtually and then tackle a hybrid version until hopefully we reach the end of this time in our lives and can continue (as close as we dare) as we did before. Are we ready to embrace the cooler mornings, the switch to comfort foods and of course all the pumpkin recipes Pinterest can throw at us?

I know I am!

Take care and stay safe!
