These are four of my all-time favorite Thanksgiving Side Dishes! Make one or make them all for your holiday dinner because you won’t be disappointed.
The holiday season is coming at us full steam people! Did you know it’s only 51 days until Christmas? And the holidays always call for crazy amounts of eating.
I always think that the choice of sides are just as important as the main dish, so here’s my four favorite Thanksgiving side dishes for you to choose from.
I couldn’t give you a favorite, they’re all so good and easy to make. Just make them all and be done!
Creamy Garlic Parmesan Au Gratin Potatoes
These are not so much low calorie but full on loaded with flavor. Heavy cream, garlic, potatoes and Parmesan cheese make these high on my must-make list!
Bonkers good!
Roasted Root Vegetables with a Maple Balsamic Glaze
Rainbow carrots, parsnips, sweet potatoes and onions are just some of the seasonal vegetables in this dish. Tossed in olive oil, salt, pepper and tons of fresh rosemary and then roasted until caramelized. Just before you serve them, drizzle with the reduced balsamic and maple syrup glaze.
Amazing!!
Roasted Red Potatoes with Artichokes and Fresh Herbs
You’ll notice a theme going on here and that’s the roasting part. It’s because it brings out awesome flavor! These red potatoes are diced into small cubes and tossed with rosemary, thyme and oregano. Add some marinated artichoke quarters for that special flavor.
Brussels Sprouts and Balsamic with Crispy Pancetta
Thanksgiving wouldn’t be the same if there were no brussels sprouts! These are roasted and covered with a similar balsamic glaze. The final touch are the chunks of Pancetta!
I just love a Gratin! Your pictures are great. I hope you don’t mind me asking but which are your settings for camera shots usually?
Regards from Rio!
