Are you a celebrator of St Patrick’s Day? Do you get up early in the morning and trash your toilet bowl with green food coloring, or turn your house upside down blaming it on some tiny character with a red beard?
I just gave you an insight into my day on March 17th.
But things get serious around dinnertime. I never grew up celebrating St Patrick’s Day even though Scotland is a hop skip and a jump from Ireland. America on the other hand, seems to love getting into the spirit of pinching strangers and wearing green, even if it means that t-shirt from high school.
I love slow-cooked corned beef with all of the sides, this traditional Colcannon will be on my table this year and probably a few of these awesome recipes in my round up below. I think I have you covered, from sweets to savory and even a shamrock shake (booze optional but highly recommended).
